2025年3月2日、フィリピン・ワールドトレードセンターにて「ワールドコスプレサミット・フィリピン2025」が開催されました。本大会は、毎年名古屋で行われる「ワールドコスプレサミット（WCS）」本戦への出場権をかけたフィリピン予選として位置付けられており、国内のトップコスプレイヤーたちがその技術と創造力を競い合いました。

✨🌟Turning imagination into reality through cosplay 🌟✨ On 2 March 2025, Japan Information and Culture Center (JICC) Director MATSUDA Shigehiro attended the World Cosplay Summit Philippines organized by Cadre28 together with Sassy Concepts, at the World Trade Center. In his remarks, Director Matsuda expressed his deep appreciation for the unwavering support and warm reception of Japanese pop culture in the Philippines. He also highlighted that Japan and the Philippines’ robust and vibrant cultural ties are fostered as people continue to forge strong personal connections and friendships through art. 🇯🇵🇵🇭 The World Cosplay Summit Philippines is the preliminary competition for the annual World Cosplay Summit held in Nagoya, Japan. 本イベントには、日本国際交流基金（JICC）の松田茂弘所長も出席し、開会式でスピーチを行いました。松田所長は、フィリピンにおける日本のポップカルチャーへの熱い支持に感謝の意を表し、「日本とフィリピンの文化交流は、アートやコスプレを通じてさらに強い絆を築いていく」と述べました。
