WCS Membership Countries&regions: Contract Period

There are two types of contracts: fixed-term contracts and annual contracts.

Fixed-term contract
For contracts starting from a specified year, a fixed contract of 3 years is entered into.
2026~2028 (Applications closed in June 2024.)

Annual contract
New member countries&regions are recruited annually, and their contract periods may align with the end of the fixed-term contract, with options for either 2-year or 1-year contracts.
2027 (Scheduled to be recruited in September 2025 / 2-year contract)
2028 (Scheduled to be recruited in September 2026 / 1-year contract)
