- Hosting National Competitions:
Member countries®ion must have suitable organizations representing their cosplay communities. Member countries®ion are responsible for hosting official qualifying competitions within their own territories. These competitions must adhere to WCS standards and aim to select representatives who can participate in the international event. All qualifying events must conclude by the end of May each year, with representatives announced for the Championship held in Japan in August. - Collaboration with the World Cosplay Summit:
Member countries®ion must collaborate with the WCS Executive Committee, engaging in activities such as information sharing, cultural exchange, and co-organizing events. - Benefits of Membership:
Upon becoming a member country®ion, organizations gain the right to use the WCS logo and can engage in merchandise sales. They also receive support for promoting and fostering cosplay culture through official tours and year-round cooperation.
