About the Canada Representative
Mae-Gwyn Cosplay is a cosplayer from Greater Montreal.
She started cosplaying in 2012 and loves sparkly, colorful, and fantastical costumes, focusing mainly on idols and magical girls.
She won the Canadian preliminaries held at Otakuthon in Montreal, earning recognition for her skills and performance.
At the 2023 Championship, she passionately portrayed characters from “Puella Magi Madoka Magica” with AnnieChie Designs.
Mae-Gwyn’s cosplay creation process starts with detailed planning of materials and costs in a spreadsheet, and she builds her costumes layer by layer. She values teamwork, often doing group cosplays and photoshoots with friends and other cosplayers.
